New pinball machine pick up: Bally Mr. and Mrs. Pac-Man

23/21

I’ve really wanted to get this game for 5 years now & had recently came across one on Facebook in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, so I left at 6 AM in the morning to make the long trip to PA. A few hours in, I stopped at a rest stop with a row of arcade games, a Pac-Man/Galaga game and a Cruis’n World sit-down racing game.

A few hours later I arrived at the destination. The game was sitting in a huge warehouse for an auction company and looked better than the photos online. I got the legs disassembled & loaded up the game.

This is a pretty rare game – only 868 of these were ever made – and the game is kinda difficult, with a Pac-Man maze feature built in the playfield. The objective is to spell PAC-MAN and light up all the dots on the maze, & it’s got a really cool speech chip with voices based on the Pac-Man cartoon from years ago. It’s been sitting in a house for years & never was on an arcade floor.
